The book is the brainchild of entrepreneurs Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo who having reserched the lack of female role models in children's literature decided to write a different book.

The book is about the life of 100 extraordinary women, from the past and the present, who have achieved incredible results despite all odds. They are painters,scientists, chefs, dancers, queens, singers, political leaders, writers, astronauts.
